Unidentified Rosy Ooze on Secluded Tasmanian Shoreline Spurs Concerns of Possible Phytoplankton Proliferation
Authorities in Tasmania are striving to determine a pink slime that has materialized on a remote shoreline, with some scientists anxious it could be an algal bloom.
Broad Presence On Shore
The pink-tinged sludge materialized across a portion of a southern bay about 37 miles south of Hobart. A like substance has also been documented on sections of a nearby shore and Little Taylors Bay.
