The opposing team had taken the lead at their home field with QB Justin Fields running in a five-yard touchdown to cap the New York's first possession
But the Patriots fought back in the second quarter as Henderson rushed for two seven-yard TDs before the ball carrier caught a pass from Maye at the rear of the end zone midway through the third period to push the score to 21 to 7
"That was a key occasion for him delivering, and it's been fantastic for him to keep earning playing time," the quarterback commented on Henderson. "He desires to be great."
Justin Fields connected with Metchie toward the end of the third period to close the gap for the visitors but Borregales converted a pair of field goals in the fourth quarter as the home side closed out the victory
